I have tried checking the settings as suggested above though there is nothing requiring an airplay password and I have tried removing the device from the home app and adding it back, but now when I try to add it back it still asks for an airplay password that doesn’t exist. The one in my living room works fine, the one in my office had been working fine for about a year and then suddenly was prompting me for an airplay password, which I absolutely never set up.
